The WaterApps project tries to work together with farmers to develop tools utilizing seasonal forecasts and weather forecast in farmer decision making. The project has started a business challenge to develop a mobile application to support this process. The challenge had a kick off event at the end of august and the deadline of online prototype submission on he 15th of September.

This business challenge is meant to develop an application to bring climate and weather data to the farmers and collect their information at the same time. We invite companies to submit a prototype of the application they would build. Selected companies will be invited for a 2-day workshop and are then asked to put in a final proposal for development. Limited funding is available for the winning business to build and implement their solution.

For more information and submitting your prototype go to: https://ghanainnovationhub.com/waterapps/
